Text to Self-Memory Maze by Gordan Korman

I am reading Memory Maze by Gordan Korman so far i've read about a kid named Jax he has the power of hypnotism and he hypnotizes a boy in his basketball game. Dr. Elias Mako is the that is a specialist and he is   so far knows a lot about the boy. He begins to pick up the sport chess and his parents and himself believe he is a master. He's not really a master at chess it's a new hypnotist tricks but he doesn't know he's doing the trick. Jax is a powerful young boy who's going through hard times he right now needs support and training from his mentor Axel.       The character reminds me of Nicholas in a way because he is smart and excels in classes and he knows a lot about chess and just old days stuff. This character reminds me of me because he is brave in a way and scared of what Dr. Mako can do. Why he wants to destroy Jax's family and his life because Jax can  or overthrow Mako with his hypnosis and can possibly kill him. A situation that happened that reminds me in real life is that Axel is a proffesional who knows a lot about hypnotism because he is a hypnotist and a lot of people in my life are professional.   I love the way Norman tells the story of Jax Opus in the second book. He describes how Jax and the family go through rough times and the powers Jax has. Jax has a hypnosis powers and can manipulate people in many different ways. Jax learns and trains with Axel and he helps Jax control his powers. Jax in certain outcomes outcomes or situations can't  control them as well and he needs the training.
