Peter Pan: J.M Barrie
Text to self
The book that I'm reading, Peter Pan by J.M Barrie. The book is about a young 12 year old boy named Peter Pan who refuses to grow up. He pays a visit to Wendy, Micheal, and John darling. With the help of his little friend Tinker Bell, Peter takes them on a magical ride to where Peter lives...... Neverland . Peter Pan introduces them to his loyal friends, Tink, The lost boys, Tiger Lily and her native American Tribe, and the "dangerous" captain Hook that has the intent of defeating Peter Pan as he is trying to escape the tick-tocking crocodile that once ate Hook's hand that Peter Pan cut off and fed it to the crocodile.
Peter Pan reminds me of police officers and fire fighters because he is very brave and will fight for the ones he loves. Wendy reminds me of me because when she very first met Peter Pan she was unsure if she could trust him but once she got to know who he really is she knew that she could trust him with anything. A similar situation that happened to me was when I met someone for the first time and wasn't sure if they were a good friend or if I could trust them but once I got to know the real them I knew that they were a really good person.
I liked the way the author used many adventurous and dangerous scenes in the book. The story teaches that you can trust people and don't judge a book by it's cover because once you know a person they can turn into your best friend. The character I most admire is Wendy because she is very brave and courageous and trusting Peter Pan even though she didn't know him very well. If I were you I would read this book.

Good Job! I like how you explained the book, maybe a little more detail about the book, but it's still pretty good because i would want to read the book because you made it seem like a good, interesting book to read like there is a lot of adventurous courses that would be fun to read. When you related to firefighters and police officers you made a good point because they both really helped out. All in all this was a good blog and it did convince me to read the book.
