Fablehaven

Fablehaven
Fablehaven, by Brandon Mull, is a story about a brother and a sister who have to stay with their grandpa his two house keepers while their parents are gone on a trip. They are not happy about it because they have never seen him before and they know nothing about him. They start to get curious about the house and their grandpa. They ask him questions and start to uncover secrets. There are two other people living with their grandpa, Dale who is the garden worker, and then Lena who is the housekeeper. Their is one night called Midsummers Eve and that is when all of the creatures and beasts come out of the woods and they run wild. Their grandpa tells them to stay in the attic because it is very dangerous. Lena says that the things outside are more terrifying than you can imagine. They are not allowed to look out side EVER. They encounter beasts and fall into their tricks. But, They survive the night. They woke up and their grandpa, Lena, and Dale were missing .They find out that their grandma who was missing is actually the chicken that has been roaming around the property. They know this because she wrote out , "I'm Gram" with rice. They take her to a witch that lives in a little shack in the woods. She is being imprisoned by a knotted rope they she has to untie to be free. The witch lifts the spell from their grandma and she is human again.
This book relates to me because they go on a lot of adventures and I love to go on adventures. I can also relate because they had to stay with their grandpa and they don't know him I also had to stay with someone that I didn't know. This book has many events that I can relate to. I wish that some of these things happen to me.
This book has been so exciting so far. I can't wait to finish it. Their are so many twists and turns and you never know what is coming next. I get lost in the book and I feel like I am there when I read it. This book should become a movie because of how much action and spectacular events happen. This book always leaves you on the edge.
