The Book Thief  By: Markus Zusak      I am reading the book The Book Thief by Markus Zusak , it is a book about  a young orphan Liesel Meminger's who's life has changed in an instant, on there way to there foster home her brother dies. At her brothers graveside there is a book The Grave Digger's Handbook left left there by accident so she took it because it was the one thing that she saw when she last saw her brother. Stealing that book was her first act of book thievery. It was also was the beginning of her love for books, with the help of her accordion playing foster father she learned to read.       The Fault in Our Stars , written by John Green , is about a sixteen year old girl that was diagnosed with Stage 4 thyroid cancer, but eventually spread to her lungs. She has lived with cancer since she was diagnosed with it at the age of 13, taking an experimental drug named Phalanxiphor. While attending a weekly Support Group, Hazel meets a boy named Augustus Waters, an amputee and survivor of osteosarcoma. Augustus and Hazel become friends, although Augustus has a crush on her. They start to unofficially date, because Hazel thinks of herself as a grenade, eventually going to explode and hurt everyone close to her. Both teens have/had a disease, so they are qualified for a Wish at the Wish Factory, a place that grants wishes for sick children. Augustus saved his wish, but Hazel spent hers on Disney World. Text to Self-Hunger Games      Have you ever been scared to do something, I know I have. In the book The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins, a boy and a girl from each of the 12 districts gets picked from a jar to compete in the annual Hunger Games. The Hunger Games is a brutal, barbaric fight to the death. These tributes have to go through a series of conferences and talk shows to try to earn sponsors, by doing this they better their chances of survival in the Games. The main characters are Katniss and Peeta two once average teens now having to fend for their own lives.      Katniss doesn't remind me of anyone in particular, but when she steps up in place of her sister, I thought to myself would I do the same, the answer is yes. This character reminds me of me because I get scared in a lot of situations, for example before a huge wrestling match I sometimes get really nervous.
